In the information era that everything runs fast as today, the space and the time differences are no longer be the constraints to accessing information. This is caused by very quickly the information technology development. By accessing the information, we would likely be able to read the opportunities that exist for us to use as we wish, of course, to do something useful.
This also might be the foundation of the establishment of Kampoeng Cyber RT 36, the information technology community that was founded in 2008 in RT 36 RW 09 Patehan Village, Kraton District, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Uniquely, this community form as residential that located in the area. By presenting the internet in the middle of communities with affordable prices, they want to use the information technology to catch up their backwardness.
Kampoeng Cyber Program was implemented by creating the internet network (wired connection) from house to house. Until now the internet access is already connected to 25 houses. Here is a map of Kampoeng Cyber RT 36 Residential.
